Cropped and enlarged:
Found another Luna Moth this morning, it was up in the wheel well on the tire of Mothers Subaru.
I had one fly into our entry on the evening of the evening of May 22 nd but this Luna Moth that I found today is a different moth.
What’s surprising is that they are out so early, we usually don’t see them until late June, early July on up into the fall.

Celandine (Wild Flower) is blooming along the roadsides everywhere now, it reminds me of Evening Primrose.

I wanted to show how large the conk was so I just put my 10 lb chihuahua on it.
He will do anything for a treat. :)

Tried again today to get some shots of the Hawk Moths / Humming Bee’s that where enjoying the flowers on our Cat Mint.
Talk about a subject that’s hard to photograph, these things are always moving making it almost impossible to get a focus on them.

The first Baskettail Dragonfly that I’ve seen this year, their hatching out about two weeks early as we usually do not see them emerging until the end of May or the beginning of June.
